New balloon, same mission
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has a new look! In 2011, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals proudly introduced the new miracle balloon. Be on the lookout for our new icons while visiting our area sponsors this year. The look may be new, but the mission is still the same: help our hospital help our children.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals) works with Children’s Hospital Foundation to raise funds in support of its member hospital, Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU, to aid in the advancement of health care services for children in Central Virginia.
CMN Hospitals supports the hospital through local special events and national campaign efforts, including partnerships with a variety of sponsors like Wal-Mart, Food Lion, Costco, Rite Aid, RE/MAX and Credit Unions who raise funds through miracle balloon sales. The CMN Hospitals calendar of events includes cycling tours, 5k walks, lemonade sales, casual days, dance marathons, radio promotions, golf tournaments and car shows.
The hallmark of CMN Hospitals is that 100% of the net proceeds raised by events and campaigns in our community stays here to help the tens of thousands of children served by Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU each year.
