Junior Board Raises $217,000 for Children’s Hospital Foundation
Members of the Junior Board of Children’s Hospital Foundation are pleased to announce that the 48th Annual Children’s Hospital Foundation Ball raised $217,000 for the renovation of the rooftop play deck at Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU (CHoR). The Ball was held on November 4 at the Country Club of Virginia and was attended by more than 650 guests.

Children’s Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce that Kohl’s Department Stores, through the Kohl’s Cares Program, has awarded the Foundation with a $92,308 donation to fund a Dental Outreach Program.
Children’s Hospital of Richmond Patient Will Represent Virginia in Program to Inspire Others
A local boy from Chesterfield has been chosen to represent the Commonwealth of Virginia for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ Champions Across America Program in 2011. Ben Millefolie, 14, was treated at Children’s Hospital of Richmond for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). He was selected and will be honored because of his courage through cancer and personal philanthropic efforts to help kids like him. Ben was diagnosed with cancer just before his 10th birthday and received 25 months of treatment.
