Women & Wellness luncheon - February 6, 2024
The 29th Women and Wellness Luncheon, presented by Primis and featuring Elizabeth Gilbert, took place on February 6, 2024 with over 400 guests in attendance and raised more than $247,000.
Keynote speaker, The New York Times best-selling author, Elizabeth Gilbert, shared her experience as a caregiver for the lover of her life, during her partner’s journey following a terminal pancreatic and liver cancer diagnosis.
Women and Wellness co-chairs, Jill Campbell and Tara Daudani shared the impact of philanthropic support, with has lead to developments in treatment of triple-negative breast cancer. Learn more about Jill and Tara's story in the video below.
2025 will mark the 30th anniversary celebration of the Women and Wellness. Women and Wellness has raised over five million dollars to advance cancer research at VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center and save lives.

Thank you to the 50 ladies players and 10 juniors who participated in the 3rd Annual Play It Forward Tennis Tournament that took place on October 22 at Courtside West! Together we raised over $22,500 towards women's cancer research!

Thank you to everyone who made this event a success, especially our 2023 Women and Wellness sponsors! The event raised nearly $200,000 for Massey as part of a year-long Women and Wellness campaign that also includes small gatherings with Massey researchers to raise awareness and funds.
