Volunteer

The success of many of our fundraising and community outreach events relies on the time and energy of our volunteers. Depending on the event, our needs can range from only a small group to more than a hundred volunteers.

How can you help?

Individuals, businesses and groups in the community can get involved by volunteering for one or more of our fundraising or outreach events throughout the year. Opportunities range from pre-event activities, such as helping assemble kits or mailings, to support during the actual event, such as helping with registration or set up.

Most volunteer opportunities are for one-time events in the evenings or on weekends. For most events, volunteers are required to be at least 18 years of age. Depending on the event, volunteer opportunities may have physical requirements, including but not limited to prolonged periods of walking or standing, lifting or moving objects, and general communication skills.

If you are interested in volunteering, contact Vaughan Clark at vclark@chfrichmond.org.
